Already has 4.10's. The whole transmission is gone along with the transfer case. I honestly am tired of pouring so much money into it. I paid 7 for it and ive atleast put that much in it

haha just wait till you get up to my level...paid $13k for it and poured $17k into it!

and still counting...Still got some things to fix too...steering column. fuel pressure gauge, drivers heated seat (don't really care about that), steering pump is puking..got a new hi output one just too lazy to put it on. and rust is starting in real good in the doors and fenders...ugh. its never ending.

If it didn't run so damn good I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago..might just have to one day rip the motor out of it and put it in a newer truck motor will last forever. truck around it is falling apart.

maybe I'll box and cross brace the frame in my S-10 and put the motor in there when that truck body or suspension gets to the point I don't want to deal with it anymore... that'll make a fun S-10!

you will definitely love the cummins!

sucks about your xfer case... I've seen the chains come apart and rip the sides off the case, but never seen it just break off like that... was that thing low on oil or what?

Man that's what I think every time I wonder about getting something newer or when the truck itself needs fixing.

Ahh it's not really worth it but the motor is so damn good I just can't get rid of it
