Brandon is probably wondering how I got more info on his new truck than he knew! (This forum rocks!)
So is the truck loaded? I'd say so

I know...it's not a Ram.....but it is my thread...

Started pulling it down. Doing frame off restoration. Thinking about puttin on a Heidts front end under it, neww differential, and maybe rebuild a Powerglide for it.

Started this today (too hot to touch up clear on Ram..)

I do believe that build is worthy of its own thread! Build threads are awesome, keep good flow of traffic in the forums as well. Plus your Ram build was very informative, would be nice to see your progression on this build as well.

I took about 30 photos of the 54 from the time I picked it up, to just today. Most of it is to document its condition for the "before" part of the process.

Anyone interested can take a look HERE. I will keep addiding as process continues. Fiugured I would work on the mechanical issues while it is too hot to finish the touch up on clear on Ram. Darn stuff dries before it hits the body almost, even with the slow reducer. (gotta get a shop builiding with a paint booth....)
