My truck is in desperate need of new tires, so today I started trying to decide what I wanted to put on there, and figured I better take a look at what it calls for.

So first I looked at the door, which says 225/75R16's.
Then I look at what is on there now....255/70R16's
Finally I look at the build sheet and it came with....245/75R16's

Think I'm going to go with 245's this time.
Also found out my spare is missing....Anyone got an extra spare in the Memphis area they'd like to part with? I've struck out at junkyards so far.

Check local tire shops. They sometimes have take off wheels or can order a generic steel wheel pretty cheap.

I am surprised that build sheet shows something different than sticker on door frame....

I think all the doorframe stickers show the same thing... mine looks the same as his, but, my build sheet says 265/75/16s......

Its the ones that are on it now that tripped me out. I think the dealer I bought it from might have just put a set of whatever they had in 16's at the time on it...there are at least two different tire brands on it right now.

My truck came factory with 265's. Build sheet says so.
So yes, the sticker on the door is generic.
