is that a 4barrel carb? i might be a bit worried if you plan on offroading it. you should pull the numbers off the horn to find out what size it is. most people put way too much carb on a vehicle which results in very bad gas mileage. i know i got a 670 street avenger on my 81 but could really use a 390 but they are kind of expensive.

Thanks I thought so.

I haven't even checked the size of the carb yet, but I will.

Gonna pass on this one guys. Wouldn't start when I looked at it the other day and before I even tried to start it I popped the air cleaner off and there was fuel pooled on top of the carb.

for 2 1/2 grand you had better at least get something that is running. if it don't start i would say the price would drop to the scrap to $1000 range. people lie out there a$$ now aday. you can't trust anyone. there may be a good reason it is not starting.

I kinda agree. But I would be wondering what else is wrong if it wont run.

Float adjustment costs nothing.
