yess....P24v's are very powerful

the 24v's usually go to P-pumps when they have reached the power limitations of the vp44.

then they go to either a 180hp or 215hp P7100 pump and they crank them up and break the 700hp barrier on the 24v's.

I avoid water holes like that in my 4x4 if I don't have another truck with me to rescue me.

Was gathering wood from down by the creek, as cold as it's been I wouldn't have thought any of the ground would have started to thaw, but apparently about 1/2" of dirt on top was thawed, ground froze solid underneath, just like driving on snow or sleet.....

Got turned around and came back up to get near the wood and the rear end let loose (had some wood in the bed too), did at least a 180* or damn near close.

Got the biggest come a long I have, which is deceptive because single line is only rated for 1500lbs, dual line at 3000lbs.

Got the wifey to drive the truck in neutral, got the truck forward about 2" and got no more, had her apply steady pressure on the gas, got 3" before the passenger rear just dug itself a bigger hole.

Couldn't even get the chains on that side.

Waited for the pop in law to give me a pull, still couldn't get out, I had even dropped PSI to 25lbs each rear tire.

Ended up having to back down the hill a foot or so to get a good bite and he was able to pull me up.

That crap is slick.

So I'm going to go pick up a red 2000 Sport tomorrow, with Flowmaster Duals, a KNN air intake and SCT Tuner, provided everything checks out. I'm not really worried about adding performance. I'm too excited to wait so I have a cosmetic question. I want to add black riveted fender flares, but don't know what grill/bumper set up would look best. I'm thinking about going to black bumpers, front and rear, and a black grill. How do you guys think this would look? Especially the front end.
