Got turned around and came back up to get near the wood and the rear end let loose (had some wood in the bed too), did at least a 180* or damn near close.

Got the biggest come a long I have, which is deceptive because single line is only rated for 1500lbs, dual line at 3000lbs.

Got the wifey to drive the truck in neutral, got the truck forward about 2" and got no more, had her apply steady pressure on the gas, got 3" before the passenger rear just dug itself a bigger hole.

Couldn't even get the chains on that side.

Waited for the pop in law to give me a pull, still couldn't get out, I had even dropped PSI to 25lbs each rear tire.

Ended up having to back down the hill a foot or so to get a good bite and he was able to pull me up.

That crap is slick.

time to trade up for a 4x4!

I'm thinking about going to black bumpers, front and rear, and a black grill. How do you guys think this would look? Especially the front end.
Ended up not getting it... Moron said it only had 78,000 miles in the ad in the paper, damn thing had 178,000 and bad rust issues. Still looking at a few rams, hope to have one by the end of the next week... Adding to my question though, would fender flares like Merc's look stupid on a un-lifted truck?

Depends on how wide your tires were. If they stick out of the wheel openings normally, then flares would look good. if they don't, then skip the flares.
