Thanks guys was not much of a summer for doing mods to it as I was having fun with the old GM's. I have a few more parts to get before the NV4500 goes in it and I have bumpers to make up before it goes up any further.

What's up with the bumper? Have you tried re adjusting it?

 

Hah not easy to adjust them bumpers... At least by yourself...

 

I see alot of second gen bumpers that look like that

 

Well, that bumper and hood is off of another truck because the PO ran my truck into a fence. I went and swapped out the bumpers and noticed it was down, turns out the piece of metal going from the frame to the bumper is bent on that side. I have a spare piece from my old truck (parted it out), I just haven't installed it yet. Is adjusting that piece what you mean by adjusting the bumper?

 

Yeah I mean adjusting it so it doesn't look like someone pulled you out by the bottom of the bumper. Now that you mentioned that support making yours like that I remembered that mine was bent too. I straightened it out and it lined up good. I also ripped off all the plastic later on because it was all broken.

 

Yeah, I probably just need to swap out the brace and see what happens. Just finding the time to do it. I had some rust and bubbling in the paint below the molding/trim line on both sides of the truck. I had to sand it down and get all the rust out, then prime and re-paint that. Just hadn't done the brace for the bumper yet.
