The silver 95 is doing great, Not quite at 96,000 miles yet, Almost 25,000 on the trans.
3 inch Rough country cheapo lift, 35x12.50R17 Toyo Open Country's.

Just waiting on the new adjustable track bar to put the front axle back where it belongs.

Wow, that is one clean looking 95. That looks to be in great shape.

Thanks, my uncle ordered the truck new in 95, Other cousins and friends drove it more than he did, for him, it was just his boat pulling and hunting truck.

I got it a few years ago with 73,000 miles, with a brand new Chrysler crate trans with less than 100 miles on it.

After I got it, I took the front valance off, the factory Mopar tube steps, and the front factory Mopar mud flaps. I'd like to keep the steps and mud flaps, but the 35's disagree.

I seriously love this truck, so much that I really have been kept up at night worrying if the 35's would have some unwanted side effects on the transmission.
Been thinking about putting the 265/75R16's back on, but it looks soooo good with the 35x12.50's.

What gears ya got in the axles? 4.10's are ok, 4.56 would make the trans breathe a sigh of relief.

35s and only a 3" lift is pushing it. Try a compromise and get 285/70r17. It will look a tad smaller but you'll never worry about rub. 285s seem to run different sizes depending on manufacturer. I wanted a smaller 285 so I went with Cooper ATP (for my 3.55 gears). Looks real good to me. But Toyo or Cooper STT or similar run larger so you could still get a meaty look. You also have the option of 285/75r17 which are even larger.

Factory 3:73 Limited slip.

I've thought about 4:10's, but I not sure if the 4:10 wouldwork on the the 3:73 carrier.

Or on the 44 for that matter.

I've also though about finding a wrecked 3/4 ton with 4:10's for the cheap, an putting the full float 70 under it.

I'm not really sure what would be in the front of a 4wd 3/4, I've had 9 of these trucks, 318's, V10's, 12 valves, But this silver truck is my first 4wd.

Hardly any rubbing, they do hit the control arms at full lock slighty, but other than that, they're fine.

9.25 uses the same carrier, regardless of gear ratio.

On the D44, I *think* 4.10 is the break point, but, might be 3.73..... If it is, you could always get 'thick-cut' gears. Those will bolt right up.

Assuming I wouldn't have to change the carrier, I'd have no problem changing the ring and pinion.

The truck does seem happier with the 35's on it actually, it doesn't bounce around like crazy on the highway anymore, the speedometer is accurate now, It shifts more normally and rides around 1600 RPM at 60 now.

the 35's do look good. I know I had to change the carrier for my 4:56. Jegs sells a Yukon carrier for 85 bucks. If your truck runs better and will last forever, I think it's worth saving and paying the money when you can.
