The truck came from the factory with blocks in back. I think they were something like 3 to 5" tall. Personally, I am not a fan of lift blocks. They give the axle quite a bit more leverage on the springs, so, 'axle wrap' becomes a real issue. The shackle flip is an excellent idea, and I would be tempted to go with different springs as well, and eliminate the blocks entirely.

Did both, Bds shackle flip kit, think it lifted it 3".not positive been a few year's. Rear leaf packs are Sj 5" softride. Blocks are F350 drilled for pin offset to recenter the diff in the wheelwell. U-bolt flip, custom shock mounts and other stuff.

As for my truck, getting ready to drop it down to 7" lift.

Picked it up from hail repair a few days ago. Liking the new hood, also switched to painted flares.

Damn, that looks nice. Do they not use salt on the roads by you? Mine is only a year old, but, the tin worms have really taken a toll, and it was ziebarted when new..... Got it in 2017..

They blend it with sand or put down a beet juice brine (ND produces a lot of sugar beets). I only drive my truck 800-1000miles a year. I have a daily driver car to keep my truck nice since my truck is just for personal stuff. Ever since I got my AWD R/T charger I rarely need my truck for getting to work in the winter. My drivers fender is trash beneath the flare, I have a good one on a parts truck just pushing it off as paint is expensive (hood was mostly covered by insurance from hail). My box sides are surprisingly good, same with passenger fender. I POR-15'd my inner box sides, through the tail light hole. Helps my truck only has 83k miles.

Sorry didn't see the reply. Had a professional cut the holes in my old hood, he happened to work a the body shop that did the hood so he cut the holes in the cowl hood as well.

that is a super clean truck! I remember when mine used to look like that lol. I just picked up a new rear bumper but I have to cut through the rusted bolts to put it on

This was my father in laws truck. Hey passed and we bought it 7 years later for $1200. Have had it for about 4 years now and getting ready to park it for a complete engine and tranny rebuild. 360 w/46RE
