Hey, cnty, just out of curiosity, where'd you get your light mount on the bumper? Is that custom or something? I haven't seen anything like that on here before.

I run mine through my driver's side cancer rust hole in my rocker panel haha. But they're all coming off now because after 3 years of doing this every winter, driving past countless cops and sheriffs, and even being COMPLIMENTED by a state trooper last winter on the great job I did of mounting the lights... I got ticketed last night. "Can't have any lights that are distracting to other drivers... no non-factory lights including aftermarket fog lights... he could have ticketed me for every red light on the strands because its a police color... then gave me krap about my lightbar which I showed him up on because its all legal..."

Also said I can't have any forward facing "white" lights, which made me think how headlights were legal. I made him studder a few times by contradicting him haha. But $10 fine plus $48 court costs for a $58 ticket. Kinda pissed.

 

That sucks.

In Texas they would have been, "eh!". lol

As for the forward facing white lights, only head lights and auxiliary lights are legal.

 

Yeah, but I thought it was funny how he kept getting his statements mixed up. Then he was getting flustered when I would correct him haha.
