removing plastic from bumpers

Default removing plastic from bumpers

Has anybody ever stripped there plastic off of there bumpers?If so please post pix...I painted my truck a few months ago,about to re spray a diffrent shade of gray&I really dont like the plastic&its loose.Thanks.
Zman I thunk I posted in right section,I does good sarge just joshing ya.But you can be a sarcastic something...but you are helpful so hey...long as the problem gets solved right?Thanks

I replaced the plastic trim on front bumper with new pieces (old ones were held on with drywall screws). I repainted the gray lower piece black. I used bedliner on the rear bumper trim.

It really doesn't look too good without the plastic...

I think LMC truck makes chrome pieces that replaces the plastic

yeah mines painted...Im thinging about just fixing the plastic..if it wasnt the holes itd be cool.

you can reattach the plastic with a generous amount of silicone caulk. tape it down tight with duct tape until it dries.

If I fix it Ill use jb weld &some clamps

I never have good luck with jb doin metal to plastic, might jus be me though

I've never been able to get JB weld to work with plastic....if you got any tips that would be great!
