Realy quick question for someone, what's the loudest muffler magnaflow makes and what would be comparible to it?

 

Racebullet? Although that might be Dynomax, I don't remember.

 

I think they all sound pretty much the same. They sound like a glass pack but quieter because that is basically what they are. Mine hasn't lost it's packing after 10-15k miles and I don't think the stainless housing will ever corrode...we'll see. http://www.magnaflow.com/wideopen/wideopen.asp

 

Sorry for bringing up an old post but I'm having a delema picking my next muffler, I want something loud and put tone back in my truck. I don't want to spend a ton of money and I'm sorta going towards a super 44 FM but I'd liked some more people opinions on mufflers..I may be getting headers for x-mas but I gotta wait and see for that.. Getting sorta 'bored' w/ my super 10, all it does it crack bad after 2,000 and people have complained about it tho it sounds awesome at 2,000 when fully warmed up.

If I could afford a Mangaflow I would but can't reason that much money for their muffler either...

Or you could get the Super Turbo. I don't remember what the difference is, I think the Super is deeper.

 

Are they pretty agressive? I forgot to add that..I have too many wants when it comes to exhaust. I can't really choose one till I've heard one on a truck similar to mine. I'm as bad as a girl clothes shopping

 

The Super Turbo can be aggressive. It has a deeper tone IIRC.

The nice thing with them is that on the highway, you can hear yourself think. That's what I love about mine. That and they're cheap, $27 out the door.

Go into the muffler thread in the FAQ section, there is a big poll and when you click "view results" you can see who all had FM. Or you can just read through the thread and find who has them and what they think of them.

 

I went throught that already but didn't know I could see who voted, I'll go back there again lol
