Default New on here; Just bought a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500

I just bought a '97 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 360 v8. Runs like a beauty. Just have some questions about tires and wheels. My tires on my truck right now are 35 12 15. I am looking for tires that are not as wide and road tread. I don't want anything shorter though. I don't even know where to begin. I know a lot about cars, especially for my age and gender, but once you start talking tires, you lose me.

Automatic tranny or standard? What gears in diff?

Tires are going to depend on what you want to do with the truck.

I should say upfront I have been a Dodge man for all my 60+ yrs. I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 I bought new with 150k miles. The dash has multiple holes in it and its getting to the point I fear I will start getting damage to the electrical system. Due to Chryslers failure to properly address this dash damage issue with a recall, I would be very reluctant to buy another or recommend a Dodge to a friend.

I am starting to wonder why you're posting the same exact post 4 times.

It's not complicated. He's unhappy with the dash to the extent of informing others. We all have our things to be myopic about. UU is with flipped tow mirrors wearing condoms.
