Default Moving Out To The Boonies-Not Going To Be On For A While

I think, me and the Dodge Brothers in my sig will be the only ones who care here, but Friday is my last day in civilization with internet. Starting Saturday, the 1st, I will be moved out to the desert in an RV while I finalize building my house-probably about 4 months or so. So it may be a few weeks before I get internet since there are no phone lines or anything to get internet service. I am going to try to get 3g cell internet, but Verizon is the only provider out there and they say the nearest tower is a basic cell phone tower so internet may be hit or miss. So, I'm gonna burn up the post count to make up for soon-to-be lost time between now and Saturday. BTW, my 98 has worked its @$$ off the last several months hauling trailers full of supplies and 2500# tanks of water. All it's asked for is some fresh oil and a filter now and then. I need it to last another 30k or so to get the house done.

Please don't even go there, I used them for 6 months pure crap for service, daily caps on usage, tokens to get more speed back after over usage. BS tech service, I had to buy all the equipment $1200 later after install dude was done. They sent out more replacement equipment than I have ever seen, I had to pay for service techs to come out if I needed one. If you do go that way I have all the stuff you need, pm me if interested in it. They might be different there but here they sucked.

Have a look and see if xplorenet is available down there, much better cost, service and speed, best of all no daily caps, and you don't have to buy the equipment.

It seems their satellites don't fly over the US! Canada only. Thanks though.

All the folks that I've talked to around here have said it is very laggy and slow. I think 3g from Verizon may be the only way to go.
