Default Hey man, Watch the Leather

I've decided I want to swap my cloth seats for leather. My cloths are in near perfect shape, I have just always preferred leather. They're more durable, easier to clean, look better, etc. I've been searching around for just some leather seat covers that look stock, but they cost just as much as getting a perfect, or near perfect set of used leather seats. I would prefer to just get a set of leather covers because my seats in the truck now are manually adjusted, not electric, and I have a feeling that is going to be a PITA to convert, but if I'm going to pay $400+ for these covers, I would rather just get the real things.

So, does anyone know of a good company that makes leather covers for a decent price, like under $200?

If not, how hard would it be to get a set of power seats to work?

You've got an ST, right?
That means there is no wiring there. Other than that, I can't help.

Also, as someone with leather seats, the damn things don't breathe and when they start to get torn you can't repair them easily, and once they start to go, they're gone.

Yup, it's an ST, although you can barely even call it that. Literally the only options my truck came with was an Extended cab, the wheels, and 4WD. It's even a factory A/C delete truck. lol

lol
Almost a WS truck. Then again, those were single cab with the V6.
Your CTM might have to be changed to accept the power seats, I've no idea.

Not only do they not even make products for the 2nd Gen ram, but those are exactly what I was talking about when I said I wasn't going to pay $400+ for seat covers.

I've toyed with that idea myself but it seems $400-500 is the price for a decent set of leather covers.

You may want to keep checking e-bay, sometimes people sell the covers alone from used vehicles.

I was looking at these, they get good reviews but I don't really know what "synthetic leather" is.
