Default Anyone want to save a Indy 500 Pace truck?

I am not selling this truck...so I am not listing this in a marketplace.
Just posting this FYI..or whatever.

I posted this last week in the WTF thread :
(and it is a WTF did he do to that truck)

This guy hasn’t a clue! This is a sad site!
http://wichita.craigslist.org/ctd/3427446589.html

Well I happend to see this truck in a parking lot today as I was driving by, so I spun around and looked at it. It IS a 1996 Indy 500 Pace truck!
The paint code (PCH for the Brilliant Blue... QCH for the white stripes)
was on the sticker when I poped the hood.

This truck is ROUGH.....197,000 miles. and from the pictures you can see the body condition. The Indy wheels are gone....
It is being sold by a local pawnshop.

Guess it just made my Indy go up in value.

If someone wants to save a Indy Ram...good luck.

I'm sorry but that truck is just not worth the time and money to get into good shape again. Not even a good beater truck.

+2 that thing is a junker.

I wouldn't even take it if it was brand new.

You popped the hood on somebody else's truck? Man, I'd pop you one good one if I came out of a store and found you doing that to my truck.

Besides that, looks like a pile. Not sought after enough to save. Cab is screwed and so is the box.

Yes I opened the hood! The truck is forsale, sitting in the parking lot of the pawnshop, being sold by the pawnshop. even has a warranty sheet in the back window. 5 days or 50 miles LMAO! It was sitting there with about 30 other cars being sold at the pawnshop. So it is just like a normal car lot..you are allowed to look at the cars....just the cars are crap! Including this truck!
It just makes me curious how many Indy trucks are around in good condition anymore.
As for being sought after enough...neither was the Dodge Warlock (1976-1979)....or the little red express when it came out in 78 (2,188 made)and 79 (5,118 made)...and there were less Indy's produced than them. (around 2,800 made in 1996 only).

Look man it's cool that you like the Indy's and yours is really nice and all, but they are just another Short bed Ram with wheels and a paint job. That truck has neither indy wheels or a paint job, so it's not worth bothering with.
