Default Anybody have experience with S.A. Gear Performance Timing Set?

Specifically, this one...

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...ain#fragment-3

The reason I ask, is I have a $100 Gift Card for Advance Auto. I was planning on buying longer front shocks for my 2WD lift, but they dont carry them. So I am trying to find something I need that I can use it on. Right now, I have the factory timing chain and 147,000 miles. Anybody know if this is any good?

Default Chain

I did a little research on them and they are an Illinois based company making the sprockets here and maybe outsourcing to Japan for the chain, don't see any negatives on using their product, get a timing cover gasket set and some good oil filters (no fram) and your $100 will be shot. I would replace the water pump and bypass hose/ radiator hoses/heater hose/serpentine belt/idlers etc., anything in that area that may be good preventive maintenance.

I have one in my truck. Works fine. I opted for the .25 inch double roller feller. Same one you linked. My chain was not loose out of the box.

Awesome. I will be placing my order today. I came up with this.

I can get the timing chain, water pump/timing cover gasket set, and a Bosch Premium O2 Sensor (http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...sch_18730160-p) for $102 shipped. The other little odds and ends I can pick up at a parts store here in Amarillo. Thats with free shipping and 20% off through the 1st. Sound like my moneys worth?

Don't get the Bosch O2 sensor. Our trucks don't really care for them. Go with the NTK, or Denso unit.

+1. I tried a Bosch on my Yota one time. It did not like it. Switched to Denso and ran great, so I used Denso on my Ram also.
