Wow I haven't been on here in a couple days and this thread got popular...lol. But I'm debating now if I should cut off the cat and put in a piece of pipe and run it like that until summer when I do the exhaust. And it will be ok becuase it dosen't get e-checked until next year. What do you guys think???

If you can avoid johnny law until then why not? Do the non fouler trick so you won't have a CEL. I haven't yet, have the CEL on, granted if I reset the PCM it will take between 2 and 3 days to come on, and my truck DOESN'T run like crap, and I don't think I'm using anymore fuel then normal either....

Humm well right now the exhaust is cut short...it goes into an about 1ft long glasspack and down pipes right behind the cap. It sounds good, but w/o the cat, how much louder is it gonna be, and wil it sound good???
