I think i'll just stick with my 6bt. I already can outrun anything else while towing, and i'm still only mildly tuned. If I wanted a semi truck, I think I'd just go ahead and buy a semi truck...

Not NEARLY as much a Jigabop

I was trying to say that a 5.9 is more motor than a light duty truck will ever need, so why bother with more? I personally like my frame rails in a non-twisted-up-pretzel configuration.

you just ain't owned a cummins as long

and whats wrong with a 6.7L cummins (aside from emission controls that would somehow fall off going over a bump or get stolen)

I don't have anything against 6.7's aside from the emissions garbage, but i just said 5.9 as an example. My good friends 6.7 is stock except for an edge tuner and it's a badass truck. He needs to hurry up and trash all the emmissions crap though...

Well man howz about you come up to Iowa for a couple months and we will drop one in together? I've got access to all of the V10s you could ever want... And under 100K in good running shape.

If I could afford to have my truck brought out to Iowa and stay there for that time I would do it in a heartbeat.. I wouldnt mind using my truck as a guinea pig. as long as there is a running and driving truck when its all done lol

Sure man. Let me know when you can afford it . Also remember: Anything can be done. We just don't always know how to do it. So the best thing is to find out! Actually wouldn't be too hard. About the only things that would need to be changed are the motor mounts, would need the 47RE, different main harness and PCM, and slightly different exhaust. Oh and different A/C lines, but you could probably get all those things for around $1500 plus the motor, which I can get for $750-$1000. So looking at around $3K. How's that? I'm sure you are just drooling LOL. Hey, we'll put you up, just as long as you do a little work around the farm.

I could care less about AC.. im deleting it from my truck in the next few months... Never worked and it just robs power lol.... ON another note.. There is a guy in the 4th gen section claiming that a Ford v-10 outpulls a 2500 Hemi all day long.. he is a complete idiot... I hated towing with a ford v10.. Switched to the hemi and never would look back.
