The original J30 was probably the most beautifully designed car I've ever seen. I wanted one really, really bad when they came out.

This thread actually came up at an interesting time. I got a pretty good deal on an 03 2500 with the Hemi. I wanted to see if it was worth the change. I've already done a fair bit of modding to my Gen II but my kids are growing and space is getting to be an issue. I got the 03 because of the 4 doors and because I still could sell it if I didn't like it, while still having my 97. I can tell you after having it a week, I'll be selling the 03 as soon as the title comes back. My 97 has it down low where it counts. Pulls better, sounds better, and has about 60000 less miles too. I don't have to be around 4k RPMs to get things moving. Maybe if it had the elusive v10 of that year... Don't get me wrong, the 03 runs like a dream, but my 97 runs like a wet dream!
