Tax refund purchases?.
Not sure what the last election showed..... did it indicate that folks actually WANTED Obama back in office? Or, did it show that we did NOT want Romney? (while that may seem like the same thing, it isn't.....)
you may be right, guess they saw Obama as the lesser of 2 evils.
You also stated you were receiving unemployment. Unless your combined incomes is north of $100K/year, I cannot possibly fathom how you could have overpaid the system $8,000.
It matters not who was elected to the White House. Welfare is welfare no matter how the pig is dressed.
in the last election I don't think we wanted either of the bastards in office...
I sure as hell was not going to vote for romney... bastard has made a career out of putting americans out of work via layoffs while he takes a bonus check.

The child tax credit is an economic means politicians use to bribe people.

The biggest welfare pigs are corporations that do not pay taxes, yet revceivelarge Treasury Checks, called refunds (sorry Exxon-Mobile, GE and others..). They make billions and we pay for it on top of the huge profits they rake in. And as far aws "welfare fraud" that we seem to hear about, I get over a dozen press releases every week of multi millin dollar pleas, indictments andor conviction for corporations (hospitals, doctors, and other people whose positions I have never heard of) for meidcare fraud. The problem is we never get the millions of million back!
Corporations are controlling our economy and our country.
i have something like 6 w2s this year so i get around a bit. just trying to figure out life. im getting there.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
Like I said, no matter how you dress it a pig is a pig.
Anyone who can claim the Earned Income Credit on taxes is receiving welfare.
That's a LOT of people in this country.
this thread has strayed off topic and turned into a pointless argument. somebody post a picture of a cool truck part and STFU up about politics.
