They're more than long enough, but there isn't anything to bolt to, I could drill a hole though.

That bar is U shaped, open underneath. I'd like it to be as strong as it can.

I would think the bracket goes in as in the pix below, yep might have to drill more holes. I will go out later and see where else you could mount to.

That's what I was thinking.

Thanks for looking at yours. Just a thought, are the frames/mounting for the bumper the same on the 1500s as the 25/3500s?

My truck was hit a good while back and it had to have a few new parts for the front, bumper included, I don't know what year/model the parts came off of, if it even makes a difference, besides the sport models...

I think it's the same but not 100% on that. Just so you can spend more money, your truck would look great with a white sport grill and a white bumper.

I've wanted a white grille for a while now.

I saw a White Ram Sport at the gas station this morning, it had a brush guard, and it looked like ****. It was leaning out away from the truck, headlight guards were almost touching the headlights...

So I went out and had a look, I would not have had to drill at all for the lower brackets. As for the upper ones they would not work at all because of the driving light housings, right in the way. Unless you want to drill into the top of your bumper those brackets are the best bet.

Interesting. Makes me wonder...

I'll drill a hole and mount the brackets as shown in your picture.

Thanks for all the help.

Edit: Where I did have to drill a hole, you can clearly see the ring left by a bolt/nut that was previously there... So something got changed.
