Please find me an SLT then that does NOT have the Laramie on it.

For I have not seen one. The only one I can think of that MIGHT not have it is the SLT+ of 2000.

Won't find one.

From which, one can conclude: If it is an SLT, it is indeed a Laramie as well. Yeah, mincing a point, but, Laramie DOES indeed exist. It's just a part of the name. LT, ST, and Laramie SLT.

So asking "Is it a Laramie" is the same as asking "Is it an SLT"......

Why we are arguing this point is beyond me though.

Umm...

Did you mean no such thing as Laramie without the SLT?

No, there is no such thing as a Laramie in the 2nd gen. It's Laramie SLT, Laramie came later in 2003.

Gee, I didn't expect to get such a response....

The truck is Intense Pearl Blue, has no markings except Dodge. It apparently comes with the standard cracked dash, Standard Cab, Chrome bumpers, V6 Magnum Engine.

But, I think I may have found the answer. In the header on the web page is a selection for a VIN check. I entered my VIN and learned more than I thought I could...... It said it is a WS (Work Standard).

Thanks for the great welcome.

And I have a couple more questions as you will see later today.

Mitch

My '97 says Laramie SLT on the badge, but I don't care Laramie or not, I just love my Ram! The 5.9L engine makes it even better
