Tire Question
My grandpa has a set of tires that came on his jeep when he got it and are now collecting dust in his basement. we think that the are the same size thats on my truck and i need new tires. can they safely be used on the truck or are they made for lighter use such as his jeep? i do not have any more information on the tires at the moment.

if you don't plan on hauling any heavy loads, any tire will work...if you run heavy loads (more than a few hundred pounds in the bed) then you need LT tires..
my S10 has passenger tires on it and I have ran with 1000lbs in the bed... tires aired up to max of course..it sat nose high, but it handled it.
had the bed full of 80lb cement bags and was only going 15 miles with them.
of course the S-10 can get away with that because it weighs a lot less than your average passenger car...but yours being a full size has about 2000+lbs on my S10... so i wouldn't put more than a few hundred lbs in the bed
