I got the same kit for christmas. Its still sitting in the garage with my ever growing pile of things I need to do to the truck. I gotta say, at less than $50 , these are the way to go
Those are the same ones I got. No problems yet but they've only been on there about 15,000 miles. They're pretty easy/straightforward to install. Just don't do what I did and hit the tie rod with a ball peen to pop it out - or if you do leave the nut on it flush so it doesn't mushroom out the stud.
Are you planning on upsizing tires as well? Or just leveling it and leaving it?
I have a set of 255/65R16's to put on it, but I had those on last summer without a leveling kit. I'd like 265s or 285s. That may be an upgrade to come later.
If so, 265's are going to dog it, let alone 285's.
Yeah I do, the 255/65/R16's didn't make it bad this summer, and I towed about 800 lbs of mowing equipment with it like that all spring, summer and fall. 265's I think would be the highest I would go though.
