How much has your oil consumption gone down? Any mileage benefits since it's not sucking in all that oil?

So you still get the benefit of the vacuum thing but don't have oil in your intake! That's awesome!

No oil consumption. About a tablespoon full drains out each oil change. Mileage went up considerably after doing HS Rockers, Tune, and other work. Cannot contribute any specific amount on any one change.

Peeked inside several times, and intake is very clean!

Cool. Did you ever do the valve stem seals? I know mine leak a bit.
What is your mpg right now? 15?

As far asI know, valve seals are original. Engine was in remarkable shape, consideing the damage to body, worn and neglected suspension and brakes, and damaged body.

I get about 13.5 to 14. But I drive fast and drive hard. Love the 85 mph highway out here....

I guess I'm not doing too bad then, I'm up to 13 now.
And that's doing about 75-78 too...

Start with 3" exhaust, high flow cat and muffler, give you small but noticable increase in power. That stock muffler is very restrictive.

Tuner won't add much to a stock truck except better shift points, 98 and up adds 20lbs of tq
E fan adds nothing but more space to engine bay
1.7 rockers, maybe they help, I didn't notice anything different.

My mileage is around 12 right now i think. Ethanol free gas helped and since I did the plenum, timing chain, DIY throttle body. I hope i get another mile or two out of all these mods ill eventually do!

I hope to get a car soon so the mileage on the truck isnt that big of concern anymore
