Ive always been curious, does it matter if the hose runs to the airbox or is it fine just coming off the valve cover?

I have a valve on the driver valve cover going to the intake, and then one on the passenger cover going to the air breather

You could take the hose out and put in a little breather filter.

One on the driver side is the PCV Valve.

The orientation of the PCV valve and the breather elbow changes depending on the year. My PCV is on the passenger side and breather on the driver side.

You can actually just put a breather in both of them. No more oil from pcv into intake. Of course that would be illegal.
