steps or ladder to reach engine areas

I use a small step ladder or milk crate and kneel on the rad support I do that on my own and the ones I work on at the shop

I use one of those now since my dad bought one.
I used to use the spare tire. I replaced my spare with a full size that has a matching rim so the old one is just sitting there with no purpose.
A car ramp makes a good step too.

lol. it does make working on your truck a bit safer and easier. i think i can lie across the engine bay and reach everything.
