The left front headlight is torqued down. I swear it is....

And for the clay, well, that's possible.

Anyhoo, I found two more trucks and now I'm having a tough time deciding which to get, although the 2006 looks like a no brainer.

2009 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck 4x4 Quad Cab
2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck 4x4 Quad Cab Laramie
Thats why you want another 2nd gen......2nd gen IS Dodge Forum.

Vdub talked to my engine machinist who does lots of Chevy and Chrysler makes. I brought in a intake for dipping and he asks.... is it from a 5.7? I said no cmon I got a magnum. He says OK Cuz I'd tell to sell it today! I said why? He says the 5.7s drop valves like no other.

Take it fwiw.

Get a 1st gen cummins. They use a VE44 injection pump like old VW diesels, so you will have a leg up already.

I know the 4.7's drop valves like *****, and the valve springs on the 2003 Hemis are bad. And the early Hemis are notorious for "Hemi-tick" from the valve train.

But then, we're known for bad intakes, cracked heads, crappy transmissions, bad steering, death wobble, bum LSD's and crappy brakes.
