Default Coilovers?

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone has converted to coilovers on one of these trucks. It doesn't seem like it would be terribly difficult (at least on a 2wd, i have no idea about on a 4x4), but i may be wrong. Maybe just a tubular upper control arm, cut out the coil bucket, fab up some mounts and voila. If you've ever seen it done please chime in. Just to clarify, I have no intentions of doing this (at least not in the foreseeable future), just thought it would be cool to see.

Djgaston from the dodgeoffroad website has a build thread on his V10, he's doing 2.5 king coil overs or whatever they're called. Not sure if he has them installed yet or what.

4wd trucks are very ez to change over to a coil-over setup, 2wd would be much more involved. I have plans to go coil-over in the next few months, not cheap to do it right approx $1800 up here sans the longarm set-up.

This site would not be the place looking for such a mod. Most likely much more work for a 4x2.

In any case, here is an example of a 4x4 that did cut off stock buckets and made tube hoops. This was flex/clearance check day actually.

Edit, my buddy here is at Moab right now for Easter Jeep Safari....showing up everyone. Literally it's a sea of Jeeps and "Da Dodge".

More current look on Beadlocks and 40" Toyos

Danny, as Matt mentions, (last I saw) is using stock buckets, 2.0s x 14" I think?

You know all you have to do is ask me to ***** them out.

Here is how he traveled to EJS last Friday. This is what 33s look like on it. The 40s were tossed in the bed.

Dang that truck is sweet. Lol those 33s look way smaller on that truck than my puny 225s look on my truck. But yeah, since I have a very limited knowledge of 4wd suspensions, I had no idea what it would be like to put coilovers on one. But it still doesn't seem like it would be too too bad on a 2wd.
