Longtube headers on 4x4?

Sorry but I have not mentioned anything about the Y pipe relitive to the trany pan. That's why I was confused.

I know you didn't, that's why I explained when you questioned it.

My comment in post #35 (made as you posted) was in response to post #33

And it's the y-pipe that is being hit by the front uni on the transfercase.

Looking at the parts manual;
I see a different # for the trans mount for 4x4HD trucks (2500, 3500) than 4x4LD (1500).
But it seems the plate above it, and the cross-member below it are the same regardless.

Does this mean the mount is stiffer?

[Edit] I see RockAuto list the same part for any manual 4x4 regardless of weight.

if anyone is interested, ill have my longtubes, and y-pipe available forsale in a couple weeks. going back to stock manifolds, and a jegs y-pipe.

i have 2 sets because of the warranty stuff. so im sending back the ones that arent on my truck.
