pop
So for a while now i have noticed a pop coming from under my truck when i am taking off from a stop sign or stop light. I figured out if i put it in neutral with the truck off and roll it forward it will do it whenever i want. So one day i got under it and had a friend roll it forward and i have detirmined that it is coming from the tranny. Yay... Anybody have any ideas??

OK. So are you deciding to NOT check them? The parts could have failed, something not tightened correctly, etc. I would check anyway just to eliminate them as a possibility. Troubleshooting is about eliminating possibilities to move to another.

U-joints
So I take it you were laying under the truck while your friend rolled the truck and the noise came from the tranny area???? Did you follow the rolling truck while on a creeper to determine this??? Anyway do what the others said and checkout the U-joints even if recently replaced doing so with the rear end jacked up and with your friend turning the rear wheels. A popping coming from the transmission itself just does not sound right. If you hear and feel nothing then (have your hand on the driveshaft when its turning) proceed elsewhere.
