What do you mean by a dry/wet comp test? Something I would have to take in to do or no?
That depends on if you have or are willing to buy the tool for the job, you can buy a basic comp tester for say around $30 and up. Then it's a case of reading up on how to do the test right, you should be able to handle this as long as you can remove spark-plugs and wires. A comp test will give you a psi reading for each cyld the number relates to the cond of the motor. A good motor will have a number from say 140-165 psi dry test. A bad motor will have numbers in the 0-90 psi range. Min spec number by the book is 100psi. This is basic info and there is much more to it, best is to do a search on comp testing and read up on it. Dry test no oil, wet test you add a teaspoon of oil to the cyld before you test.
