Is that the one you are referring to?

All of the add-ons are all fairly easily bolt on except for better gears.

Question is just how much weight did he take out of the truck?

I call BS. And one of them making such claim has "96 Ram/Indy Procharged 408 (s/c 360 times in sig)"

I guess I would have to see to believe...

Dude, don't diss RM_Indy.

He's been racing that thing for years now.

How much with port and polished heads cost me? And would it be noticeable gains?

Not much without cams and better exhaust (duals, headers). My heads I've got are ported slightly and are polished somewhat (not perfect, but better than stock). They made quite a difference but not racing grade performance though. Then with cams you'll also need computer tuning. But the factory plenum intake is restrictive as well, so new intake and TB...

If you really want to do some good time with this thing and stay as a gasser, here's what I'd do:

- Stroke to 408
- Headers and dual exhaust
- Ported performance heads from Edelbrock
- New injectors
- New cam
- New intake and TB
- Tuning
- Supercharge the whole shebang
- Computer tuned to match
- Rebuilt transmission
- New ignition coil
- High-comp pistons

IDK about the 6 second thing though.

Edit: No need for high-comp heads with supercharger. Formula for problems...
