I'm using Rancho RS5000's all round, and I'm happy with the choice.

I have Monroe Senstracs. No complaint.

I do wish they were just a tad but stiffer but I need to just get a 2500

I have Gas magnums- no complaints. They're a little stiffer than whatever no name worn out shocks were in there but it's still a good ride.

I think my shocks are still the factory originals.... what's left of them anyway..... Still rides like a truck though.

It might ride better if you replaced them.

The ride is stiff as having no suspension at all. I don't think shocks are going to soften it up any. Not like they are doing anything in any event. Aside from holding a couple bolts in place.

This is true.
If you think your ride is stiff though, you should see the suspension on my 76. I can jump on the tailgate and the truck doesn't move!

Bilsteins. A bit stiff but corners better than ever.
