Default the way i figure it

... this forum owes me a lot of money back!!!! this is a very expensive forum for my dodge and i dont know if i can afford being here till i at least get some pay back..

HAHAHA just kidding. truth is yes this forum has cost me some money, and saved me money. have learned quite a bit from you guys. i thank you all.
fixed front drive axle u joints, learned to not rebuild my rear end but trust someone else. bought a complete rear end rebuild kit for $130 and having a buddy do it for $250.
then reading about the death flash and will be spending another $300 for that..
then i need a fuel pump, i get a hard start cold, turns over for about 10 secs before start.
its only a start, sucks have to dump so much money into it but oh well. she will and is a tough truck that i need to last for a long time.

Actually check fuel pressure before replacing the pump so you know you are not wasting money.

+1 check fuel psi first. Should be 49psi or real close to it. And make sure pressure doesn't drop for at least 15 minutes after the engine is turned off.

LOL. yes, you moved your truck into a new neighborhood, where it met some new trucks. And then your truck started going out with those new trucks. And those new trucks were hanging out at your house all the time and corrupting your truck. And pretty soon your truck wanted a new dress, then some new shoes. Then it wanted to go to the prom, and cheerleader camp, and basketball camp. Next it will be an out of state private college. Save your money. Your truck is a beast all right. A money eating beast.

Fuel pressure? Any auto parts store. Most have full out kit you can rent for $100, you get every penny back when you return it.

You can buy them for around $40, last I looked at them anyway....

So far all I see is $380 in parts, you have yet to even feel the pinch of owning one of these trucks. Great trucks but they like parts and lot's of them, no different than any other older vehicle. I think the longest run without putting in a new part is 4 months, I often compare it to a crackhead.

Some of you guys have got it good, me thinks.

I've spent over $3k just in parts and shop fees in the past 3 years, and I've only driven it 6500mi.

This doesn't include the oil and atf I was putting in it for a while, or the fuel expense.

If you've only put $300 in parts in your truck, you're lucky!

Wait for your heads to crack and your trans to go out at the same time, that will be your real test.
