Seriously though, what do you do with your VIN plate if you have to replace the entire dash? I mean, on our trucks it's attached to that loathsome piece of plastic crap....

Here where I'm at it would have to be taken it to the Highway Patrol station. I don't know if it's like that throughout Ohio or any other state.

Makes sense. I guess if you show up with a clean title and insurance too.

My VIN plate...installed on new dash (and then "swirled" a little too much). I removed it from busted dash, drilled holes in new dash, and pushed rivets in.
