I would suggest since it is a complete truck to use the 3 inch leafs simply cut the front hangers off the frame and remove the shackle mounts by cutting the rivets out.
to install cut the front mounts off your frame and weld the other ones on and bolt the rear shackle mount on there the rivets were do not weld the rear incase you want to remove later.
I believe the rear axle had a sway bar in 02 do not bother putting it on your truck

Definitely going with the springs. That was a big factor in deciding to find a parts truck instead of just axles. Lookin forward to that brake upgrade too
