Exclamation Road trip!!

When I moved to Denver 3 years ago, I left some stuff in a friends garage in Cleveland till i could get back on my feet and return to retrieve my belongings.

Well that time has come, I really don't trust the truck , but it has be done.
1500 mile in each direction, This should be fun.

Wish me Luck , hopefully no break downs will occur on this 200k mile beast.
but I do remember the time I went from Texas to Denver and the water pump on my '96 1500 4x2 went out 100 miles from no where on a sunday, hope that doesn't happen again.

Yup , I'm not even going to try to push it hard , I have plenty of time since out of work for a few weeks (spent all last week in hospital having gallbladder removed).
nice easy 3 day trip , when I was younger I'd just drive straight thru , but I'm not doing it like that anymore.

All Fluids are changed, and everything looks good , but I ALWAYS carry a full set of tools on cross country trips. Ya just never know what's going to happen.

When it comes to getting back home to Colorado, ain't much can prevent that. You've got your tools, you know your rig, so now all you've got is road ahead. Have a fine time, and hope for the best. I'm rootin' for ya from over here on the other, saner side of the divide.

Good luck. I have 205K on my truck and I'm worried about making it 200 miles to hunting camp and back.

That should be a fun trip.

I am in southern michigan, if you are passing thru on the Ohio turnpike, you should stop by for a visit.

I'm actually waiting on a reply from some someone on Craigslist that needs a couple pieces of furniture delivered to Ann Arbor, MI . might as well make a couple $ for gas since i'm headed that direction anyway.
