I would take me 1 to 2 days worth of work to fix the body and that would make the truck worth $8106 blue book Private-Party where I live.

yea to me rust is worse than a dirty interior. rust is cancer and eats at the truck constantly. a broke dash is nothing compared to rust in my book when a dash can be had for 200 bux or less. fixing rust, yourlooking at welding, priming, painting, not a fun thing. that truck with that much rust down here (and god knows whats under those running boards) would definately not be considered to be good condition... or near perfect..

Dodge dude.. i think im gonna do it. My coworker picked up his 99 F350 Dually tuesday (he's replacing the ram with the furd so he can pull his 5th wheel camper that he just bought) I will post better pics if / when i do it and get it home and what not.. then i'll clean it up (wash and clean interior) and then post up pics of that too, its just a matter of time now.

The amount of rust on this thing is nothing compared to most trucks up here in the alleghanies lol! I can dig where down south it would be frowned upon because it usually points to neglect, up here it's expected... Damn you Salt and Snow!

...

Why would he lock it? thread hijacking I guess ( I looked it up, sorry if I used it wrong) ?

Easy Fix. Just need to replace the flux capacitor and top off the blinker fluid. However, 95... no OBDII... Wouldn't purchase it myself, but more power to'em.

Yes sir. So in turn I think you now realize just how good of a deal I got lol... It's hard to find a decent truck up here with that small amount of rust on it, so it might be worth 800 in Georgia where the only way it's going to rust out is neglect, but it's worth 4-5 grand as it sits up here, 6-7 if I fixed her up and flipped her (monetarily, not literally) Don't get me wrong, when I said it's a beater, I don't mean it's near ready for scrap, I'm just saying it ain't exactly perty for 1500 bucks, but you do what you think is right for ya. If you aren't going to use 4x4 then why buy it I guess? I mean the transfer case is just another thing to eventually have to repair =)

Edit: Speaking of scary people in the snow, you should see people drive up here in it... Half afraid to go out in a whiteout, I know I can handle MY ****, but as soon as it starts it's like EVERYBODY forgot how to drive...

yea thats how everyone here is too crazy in the snow.

yea that truck isnt bad then for the age and for being in the snow for your area. So what your telling me is i should buy the truck and then drive it up there and resell it as soon as i clean it up and make like 5k. lol
