Default Automatic to Manual Conversion?

Hey guys, I was thinking about getting a Pontiac Fiero for college instead of driving this gas hog, but financial issues occurred and the money I had for the Fiero went straight to tuition fees. Now one of the biggest things that had me going for that Fiero was its 5 Speed transmission and as I looked outside at my truck..I realized that automatic trannys suck! Is it worth changing the transmission? Be it I do it myself or get somebody else to do it, I don't care. I just want everybody's opinion.

NV3500 will eat up less power.
Not a terrible swap especially if you have a donor truck.

So basically, I just need to acquire some cheap donor Dodge huh? Does it have to be a specific year?

Not that I know of. Your PCM is going to flip a b1tch when it doesn't detect the transmission though.

98 to 01 would be best. And it would have everything you needed. Doesn't even need to run.

It wouldn't be too bad since you have a 2wd. You might be better off to just get a reman transmission and the rest at the junkyard.

Does anybody have an exact parts list? I would much rather grab all of the parts than get a donor truck due to space.
