Nice I just got a front 60 too! How much ya get it for if you dont mind me askin?

Yes you can convert to man hubs, you will to swap to Ford Dana 60 knuckles however, and there is some drilling and such required. Great upgrade though.

Well the one I'm looking at, he wants 400, but a friend just found me a 60 out of a 95 F350 for 300, we'll see which one I can get

Fuel sync is done! Now I just need some time to install the AFR gauge.

If you have the fab skills for a ford 60 I'd go for it. That's what I'm going to try to do.

I guess it was a monobeam or mono-something axle. My friend said it wouldn't work or wasn't what I needed.

To me, it seems a lot easier to just use the Dodge 60 since its a bolt in. You could put the ford knuckles on it though and get the man hubs

Went and looked at the Dana 60. It's out of a 97 2500 Cummins with the 4.10 ratio. The guy sold the motor to a farmer for an irrigation motor and is parting the rest out. I asked about the transfer case and no one had asked about it. He said I could have dibs on it for 100 bucks plus whatever his friend would charge to take it out, so like 25 bucks he said.

My question (hopefully Merc chimes in here about this) is, is it worth it? The sticker under the hood said it's a 241 standard duty. I'm sure it's still better than mine but not entirely sure.

If it's from a Cummins it is the 241 HD. I think....

Either way the t-case LD or HD is a good upgrade over the 231. I am rebuilding mine before I install it.

125 is a steal make sure you get the front ds
