Default Fitting 35s on a 2000 dodge ram 1500!

I know this has been discussed a million times on here but I want a good answer for my exact vehicle I am running 285x75x16 hankook M/T tires on my 2000 dodge ram 1500 Laramie WITHOUT the of road package yes my truck is 4x4 but it does not have the off road package I bought a 2.0" leveling kit for my truck and I also plan on buying the aftermarket track bar so that my axle does not shift I am wanting to run a true 35x12.50x16 on my truck but I am not sure if It will be able to work or not and if I half to I will run the 315 tires on my truck witch are the ones that are just barely smaller I am choosing the Goodyear wrangle with kevlar tires because I heard they where good and they look sick so plz let me know all my downfalls to doing this operation or if it is even possible plz and thank you for all of your answers!!

My 2c no a 35" will not fit under a 2" level kit and work well (though I am sure some will disagree with that). A 35" tire needs a 5" lift and a diff offset/backspace rim or they will rub on the control arms at full turn, even with a lift this will happen.

From a guy that owned a set of those Goodyear Mtr w K save your money and get something else anything else.

Ok thank you and I changed my mind I am going to get the 315x75x16 not the true 35 but you are saying they would fit but they would rub on full lock? Because a little rubbing will not bother me I also have aftermarket 16x8 rims that I installed when I got my old tires put on

Depending on the offset of your rim they might not rub, it should be 4.25-4.50. They might fit but how funtual it will be is hard to say, I never even thought of 35's until I put in the little 5" lift and with the 3" lift no more than a 33 or a 285/75r16. So next is gears and high wearing of front end parts running 315's on a dana 44 and you most likely have 3.55 gears none are a good match for a 315 tire, stick to a 33 tire and 3" lift.

For a great tire look at the Cooper STT rock'n tire.

I currently run 315's on stock height with 16x8's like you. Mine rub at full lock, but not terribly.

I run 315s with a 2.5 leveling kit on stock rims. I used half inch wheel spacers so I can turn full lock.

Go ahead, put them 35s on with only a level kit. Just be prepared to have them wear out faster or even get cut on the pinch seam. Just sayin, I mean Just Do It!

I haven't had any problems and I've had them for over a year.
