Default Fastman is MIA...Hughes throttle body?

So I went to the fastmans website to look into one of his popular throttle bodys, and his site says he is taking a vacation until the end of November. In case I get tired of waiting, has anybody used the Hughes throttle body? How does it compare? Its actually a little cheaper, not the "big gulp" model, just the modified OEM version.

Hughes Engine makes a good throttle body and so does Holley. If you do a search on Summit or Jegs they have the Holley ones.hey are 52mm if I remember right.
Also we need a bit more info like which engine? Mods done to engine if any? Planned usage of truck? What you're hoping to get out of it? Try telling us some of this info and you'll get better answers.

Yea I looked at those, they were at lot more expensive, and considering the fastman is the consensus around here I was just going to go with that. Apparently he is too busy hunting or something to send me a throttle body lol

Look on Ebay or Amazon for a better price. I don't remember them being that expensive.

I believe a member here was also making them and selling them on ebay. Not sure if he still does.

I have a BBK 52mm don't use it but have one. I like the Q of there product, when I did try it there was a major gain seen in the upper rpm band. You would have to hunt down the price on one, I know what I paid but thats up here.
