I want mine to have a polished aluminum look like the aftermarket intakes or at least get rid of the rough casting look. Any ideas how to do that?

A Dremel would probably be burned up in no time. A pneumatic tool would be a better approach.

Could be... dremels aren't what they once were. However, I DID discover they have a lifetime warranty.... got a dead one? Send it in, and they will rebuild/replace it.
