We had a member that painted his intake, valve covers, and some other stuff on his engine to match his truck, and it looked REALLY nice. Quality of the job is all in the prep work. There are pics around somewhere, but, searching for it may be fun....

I used to have an 87 chevy I used to use for off-roading. The truck was red so I wanted to paint the intake to match the truck among other parts. The quality depends on the prep work. Cleaning, decreasing, heat paint and heat primer depending on paint, is a must.

I painted my old stock one when I first did the plenum. Painted the valve covers and timing cover too. Lets see if I can find the pics...

This is how it is now. I play around with my truck and it got pretty dirty, but it looked sweet all cleaned up haha.

And here are the dirty valve covers and timing cover. The green wires really catch the eye to people haha.
