Default Will these wheels fix tires from scrubbing

In looking a a used set of xd rock stars size 18x9. Seller doesn't know what the backspacing is but the xd site shows 0 offset and 5 backspacing. I've searched and read multiple threads that say 4.5 in backing is what is needed but i want to double check with some people on the forum before I pull the trigger on these wheels. Thanks guys and here's the xd sitehttp://www.kmcwheels.com/wheels/XD775/XD7753/techsheet?year=2001&make=Dodge&model=Ram%201500
If you wanna read info yourself. Thanks again also I'm wanting to run 35 but will downsize to 33 if need be. In running 315/75r16 on factory wheels now and they scrub at full lock.

2 inches wider, and a half inch more backspace than stock. That will move the tires closer to the control arms, and probably making your rubbing worse, not better.

Keep in mind you will need 18" tires for those rims as well.

Soon as i posted this i read back over a thread where merc stated we need 4 or 4.5 in backspacing to not rub. I must have been so excited about possibly getting some wheels my brain wasn't comprehending what i was reading or even thinking.
