According to county records this place dates back to 1830, we all thought it was around 1862....

Been finding some neat houses in Virginia that date to 1900 and earlier in my real estate searches.

 

Went to the dump yesterday and was like DANG NAB my truck is a pig!!! Empty with an 1/8th of a tank of fuel I come in at 7700lbs. Well I crossed the scale at 7960lbs so I had to subtract my fat butt off it.

 

I've always wanted to know what my truck weighs.

Too bad I don't have a before axle swap and after axle swap weight reading. I bet I added at least 500 pounds betweent the Dana 60s. Those suckers are HEAVY

 

Truck is making a weird noise near the front close to the oil pan.


Sounds like metal in a tin can and you shake it. It's not constantly making the noise. Just randomly..

 

haha I did mine a couple months ago at the dump! yours outweighs mine lol

mine was about 7200 IIRC.

but I don't have a spare tire (there was no point...spare is like a 30" tire and I run 35s) and the spare didn't quite clear the exhaust lol...

don't have a cat or any emissions crap either

gonna rewire the headlights with the relays and see if i cant make them a little brighter.

 

You should do a DIY Thread, I'd like brighter headlights as well.

More often then not at night the headlights from the car behind me are visible on the road and mine are not, could turn them off and you wouldn't know the difference, and that's with shiny new headlight assemblies...

 

^^The 98 is in the same shape as described above. I had an evening trip with a wet rainy night that rattled my nerves. I believe I'll get the 98 up to standards. K.
