When it rains, it pours... Spider gears are going out in the rear end. I'm not going to continue to throw $300-$500 every month at this truck when it could be going towards a truck payment on a lot nicer, newer, more useable truck. My truck isn't going to make it to tax time like I hoped. Heck, it probably won't even make it to December. Going to look at trucks starting Monday, while my truck is still drive-able, and just take whatever trade credit they will give me on it. At this point if they give me $2,000 I'll be happy. I've had this thing since April 2009, I was 15, It only has 146,000 miles, but I'm finally done. Debating whether or not I even want to take the Brush Guard and Roll Bars out.

Time to let it go, it's only getting older.

Yup definitely a good choice. I highly recommend 4th gen rams if theyre in the budget

I would take the guard and roll bars off and sell separately. Its extra money your not going to get if you leave on the truck.

I love 4th Gens, but they're not anywhere near my budget. I don't want to spend more than $10,000 after my Down and Trade.

That's the first truck I'm going to look at, but those tail lights and Fender flares will have to go...

i reccomend doing an axle swap lol

or getting a 2500

1500 stuff is weak.

or just not getting a early 2000 third gen 1500 with the IFS for 4x4. badass motor. weak suspension. friends 05 ram had a wheel practically fall off when the wheel bearing went out going down the highway, luckily he was able to pull over without further damage.

MA eh? Yeah, that puts a damper on things. My truck came from Vermont originally. No northern trucks ever again. 1 and I'm done.

went to the junk yard for a few things today for my truck... found 2 2nd gens with almost perfect rear bumpers..

was looking for a truck with factory fogs, as i needed a bulb socket, mind corroded apart.

well, i did end up finding what i was looking for, but i also came across a cup holder fix for us 2nd genners with 98-01 trucks with the flip down cup holders...

This is strictly not politically related, simply the truth, and too bad it's a tv show....
