Yeah, thats a scam. WAY too cheap. Either that, or he missed a decimal point.

I recall having called on that truck a year or two ago. It's the exact same picture. Hell I bet I've got the picture with a timestamp on it in one of my backups somewhere.

apparently ive become my towns pd new favorite person...

my neighbors are a$$holes. theyve called the cops on me a few times saying im revving my jeep going past there house. also, when i pull out of my driveway i rocket the jeep into a leaf covered 90° corner, and slamming on my brakes. last time i checked doing that sort of thing will make you end up into a tree on the opposite side of the road.

im the only one they complain about having a loud exhaust, and there are quite a few others that drive by more than i do, and most of them have louder cars/trucks than i do!

but alas, theyre just playing games... they went by my house this morning at 6am laying on the horn... i didnt hear a thing, the wife did!

Got out the door for chores this morning and all the way at the other end of the farm (60 acres mind you with woods and rocks everywhere, I'm in the mountains now), when I notifications galore that many of our clients couldn't access their websites, including a major insurance association website which just sent out emails yesterday for their HUGE annual event (everyone needs to register on their website to attend the event). I tried to access the sites, nothing. It's a big deal to be out like this...

So I had to run ALL the way back to the house and log on to my remote desktop which took FOREVER as my dad was using the internet connection to share a desktop for his work, finally got logged on only to find out that our old hosting provider was performing emergency maintenance on an enormous amount of servers. Thankfully I was able to log on to the server an alternate way so I am transferring the insurance association's website to our new server first then I will being moving others over.

Needless to say I'm pissed. They didn't even email us. I understand emergencies happen fast but still they could have and should have emailed us. Now they don't know when they will be back up. So I'm transferring websites right now. That's well over 20GB of websites, not to mention that their network is sooooo slow right now so data transfer is gonna CRAWL...

Great way to start the day off...

This is why I try not to work on anything where "whacking it with a hammer" instead a viable option for fixing it.
